The course is tailored specifically for doctoral students in finance, providing a comprehensive

and practical foundation in data science as applied to financial analysis and decision-making.

This course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively

extract, transform, analyze, and model financial data using Python.

Upon completion, doctoral students will not only be proficient in technical data science skills but

also adept at applying these skills within the context of finance. They will be capable of

conducting high-level financial analysis, developing predictive models, and translating data-

driven insights into actionable strategies. This course bridges the gap between data science and

financial theory, preparing students to lead and innovate in the finance industry through rigorous

data-driven methodologies.
